Alligator magnet

If you’re looking for a cute way to hold notes on your fridge, look no further than this cute alligator magnet!  It’s an easy project that is as fun as it is functional!

Alligator 004Things you’ll need:

  • Clothespin
  • Markers (optional)
  • Paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Glue
  • Glitter
  • Googly eyes
  • Stick-on magnets

Alligator 006Step 1: Begin by painting your clothespin with green paint.  Younger children can use markers instead of paint.  Let the clothespin dry.

Step 2: Once the clothespin is dry add a decorative design with yellow paint.  While the yellow paint is still wet, sprinkle with glitter in the color of your choice.  Let dry.

Alligator 014Step 3: Using glue, place googly eyes on the clothespin.  Let dry.

Alligator 018Step 4: Using the stick-on magnets, place one on the back of your clothespin.
